Rooftops

Elevated in application. Experienced installation.

When it comes to Caracal’s Rooftop Solar PV solutions, we cover all mechanical and structural engineering elements of a project but in this specialist space, we lean on the specialised product line from established third party supplier, K2 Systems. In all our years working with K2 Systems, they have proven themselves a provider of innovative mounting systems for PV systems.

If it's complicated
deploy us

We are geared for the most complex challenges and this space is no exception.

Our delivery includes systems design to meet the energy generation potential of your rooftop site, complemented by sourcing components from the supplier who holds the product warranty. We then execute, setting out the fixations to eventually running the cables to the inverters.

That’s why we say, “If it’s complicated, deploy us.” Like one South African cement manufacturer for whom we engineered a new member, a different type of profile to fix to the roof at a 45 degree angle. This was a solution that was not yet on the market, so we designed and built it – and got the modules to the required angle- while overcoming a steep roof gradient with a number of structural limitations.
